Since 2015, the private charitable foundation “Serik Tolbasy Qory” has been providing ongoing support to the children’s speech development center “Tomatis-Almaty.”
The center specializes in developing speech, communication, and cognitive skills in children with special needs. Over the years, this partnership has become a vital part of the center’s growth and its ability to support more families across Kazakhstan.
The center operates based on the globally recognized Tomatis Method—an innovative system of auditory neurosensory stimulation that helps the brain better perceive and process information. This method is successfully used in over 75 countries and has proven effective in working with children facing speech delays, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, and other developmental challenges.
“Our son was diagnosed with sensory alalia, and we tried everything. Only here at Tomatis-Almaty did we finally see real progress—he started speaking in full sentences, became more sociable and confident,”
shares the mother of 6-year-old Yerkzhan, who has completed two courses at the center.
The Tomatis Method not only stimulates speech activity but also has a positive effect on a child’s emotional state, attention span, memory, and motivation to learn. All sessions are conducted in the form of engaging games, based on individual development plans, while parents receive full guidance and support.

The partnership with the foundation has been a major milestone in the center’s development. Thanks to this support, the center has been able to upgrade its technical equipment, arrange international training for its specialists, and launch a free therapy program for children from low-income and large families.

Over the years of collaboration, hundreds of children and their families have received life-changing support.
